If you are experiencing no midi communication with XP and your Korg product or Vista fails to respond to your Korg product such as the NANO series connected via USB please download the driver folder from the link below and unzip it. Open it and click 'EZSetup' to run the driver tools. Allow the user account control manager to run the application if prompted. This will then open the USB tools utility.(Please do not use the EzSetup64.) The name of the NANO device you have connected should be displayed in the window. Click 'Install' and allow Windows to install the driver. If you see a message that Windows does not recognise the driver manufacturer, click 'continue anyway'. Click 'finish' when completed. Driver installation for XP and Vista users and the KP3
If you are experiencing any receive/transmit or timeout error messages after installing the driver that came shipped with your KP3, please follow these instructions. Download the driver folder from the link below and unzip it. Open it and click 'EZSetup' to run the driver tools. Allow the user account control manager to run the application if prompted. This will then open the USB tools utility.(Please do not use the EzSetup64.) The KP3 should be displayed in the name window. Click 'Install' and allow Windows to install the driver. If you see a message that Windows does not recognise the driver manufacturer, click continue anyway. Click 'finish' when completed. USB-MIDI Driver V1.0.7
Please use this driver if you use any Korg product fitted with a USB 2.0 midi device and if you are experiencing the following errors. 1. Mac OS X Ver. 10.4.9 did not connect with the TRITON EXTREME and displayed the message "MIDI Server cannot be started". This has been fixed. 2.
