It has come to the attention of Korg UK Ltd that some unscrupulous companies are buying Korg products from overseas and selling at vastly reduced prices through internet sites or their own businesses here in the UK.

Customers who are considering a purchase from such a company should be aware of the following; 

   
1. These units will have been made to a different specification in accordance with the regulations of that country. They may not conform to UK electrical specification and may also need a modification to work successfully in the UK. Any unauthorised modification may constitute a fire hazard and will invalidate any home insurance policies should the need arise.

2. All instruments manufactured for sale and use outside of the UK may not conform to safety standards implemented by various organisations and government departments for your safety and the safety of others.

3. Products manufactured for sale and use outside of the UK will not be covered by the 12 months warranty offered by Korg UK Ltd. The warranty provided by Korg UK Ltd is only valid if the product was supplied to the dealer by Korg UK Ltd in the first instance. This means that all servicing and warranty claims will need to be addressed to your supplier and this may entail expensive transport costs back to the suppliers country of origin.

4. All disputes regarding the non-delivery and/or improper operation will need to be addressed direct to the foreign dealer from whom the product was purchased.

5. The Korg UK dealer network is carefully chosen to sell products of the highest quality and to offer an exceptional service. The warranty offered by Korg UK Ltd indicates that the product can be trusted to perform within the specified limits.
